'Mum, they want to know something about you. Why you started ' The Ceramic Package ', what your ideas are..... that sort of thing ! Let me do it ?'

'Well. OK then – but make sure it is without bias, ( as long as you are complimentary ), and no criticism about the mistakes I've made, ( because I shall be learning the ' ins and outs ' of ceramics for ever !) And you must mention how wonderful I am with children...............

What was that look for !?! 

I am a trained child care officer and I have been working with kids much of my life.......................... and YOU'RE still alive !!!'

'I must admit, not many adults can have the inventive fun you have with children and still maintain respect – you do seem to have a natural empathy - and they all seem to love you ! But I think for a website, you need to mention things like your arty-craftiness, if there is such a word! I mean, as long as I can remember we have drawn things, made things, painted things, in fact, rarely a dull moment ! And I know that my brother still talks about that Easter egg box you turned into a Roman soldier's helmet !

I know you wished you had done this twenty years ago, but the opportunity didn't arise until you took voluntary redundancy ! Two months of doing nothing and you were tearing your hair out, and that's when your friend asked if you would like to join her on that ' paint your own pottery ' business course. Then you've been on all those other training courses about the different techniques you can use and all that stuff. I've not seen you this enthusiastic about anything for years.
