Hello all,
We have discovered a wonderful ceramics painting workshop that I thought I ought to share with you!
Anne Holby runs a drop-in workshop for all ages every Tuesday afternoon between 3-5pm at the Rec at Broomhall Lane park. (The tuck shop is open for biscuits, squash & tea/coffee.) She has a selection of mugs, plates, money boxes, tiles, etc that kids love decorating with stamps, sponges, brushes and fingers. All are very reasonably priced and include being properly fired by Anne - so they make absolutely fantastic Xmas presents!
You can just drop in at the moment, but in December booking ahead is advised as the workshops will be incredibly busy.
PUDSEY DAY - Weds 18th November
Anne is also running a full day drop-in workshop next Wednesday for Children in Need. You can just turn up to paint Pudsey plates/wall plaques etc, between 11 - 5. Supporting a charity and sorting lovely home made Xmas presents all at the same time - it really doesn't get much better, eh?
